WARRANTY INFORMATION:

Warranty claims are made directly through the manufacturer.  

 

We will include manufacturer’s information with your shipment.

Please see the warranty exclusion and warranty claim sections in this page for more information on what is covered.  

 

Remember to always care for your product as indicated in the care instructions sheet.

 

This warranty is not transferable.

 

This warranty is only extended to the original consumer/purchase and only if original purchaser still owns their home where the items are installed.

FINISH WARRANTY

Special finishes, living finishes, and custom colors do not fall under the manufacturer’s finish warranty.

 

We offer a limited finish warranty of ninety days for these special finishes/custom colors EXCEPT living finishes.  See  our Finishes section for pictures of living finishes.

Living finishes carry no warranty.

 

Please see our use and care instructions sheet for more information on how to care for your product.

 

Bathrooms Elements Inc. will repair the defective finish (except living finishes) at no cost if the product falls within our finish warranty policies.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS:

Normal wear and tear.
Not following care instructions.
Living finishes.

Alterations or modifications made to our items before or during the warranty period.
Any products that have been installed outdoors. Environmental factors such as sea water, temperature fluctuations (cold, steam, or warm) will void this warranty.
Products that have been damaged due to misuse, negligence, accidental or faulty installation or maintenance.
Products damaged by the effects of hard water, lime scale, mineral deposits, potassium or salt- based water softener systems, bathroom tile cleaners, bleach, plumbers’ putty, aggressive chemicals and/or any abrasive materials.
Products installed in a manner that does not comply with local plumbing/construction code requirements.
Products sold "as is" from our site.
Any purchases from unauthorized retailers such as, but not limited to online discount stores, auction sites, peer to peer sales, etc.
Any costs associated costs for damages occurring during the removal, transportation, return or installation of products or replacement products. We will not pay for plumber’s fees or any other repairs.

WARRANTY CLAIMS FOR COVERED ITEMS:

To make a limited warranty claim:
1) Contact us and provide your proof of purchase. Give us a detail explanation of what is going on with the product. Send pictures. We will need proof of purchase from the original owner of the item. This warranty only extends to the original purchaser if he/she still owns the home where the is installed.
2) We will provide you with an RGA number.
3) Send your product to us. You will be responsible for this shipping charge/charges.
4) Allow us to inspect your product.
5) Upon thoroughly inspecting the product, we will make the determination to see the product is defective and is within our warranty policies.
Once we determine if the item is defective or falls within our policy, we will repair or
replace the product. If the product is no longer available, we will replace it with a similar item.
6) If the item falls within our warranty policy, we will refund you the shipping cost to our
facility.

Please keep this receipt for a refund. We will issue a check for this shipping refund.
We do not keep any Personally Identifiable Information stored. Therefore, we cannot
issue a refund to original payment method used at the time of purchase
.

INSPECT YOUR PRODUCT WITHIN TWELVE HOURS OF RECEIVING IT

You have twelve hours from the time the item was delivered to alert us of any issues with
product mistakes (i.e., wrong product or finished) or shipping damages.

DAMAGED PACKAGES

Packages damaged during transit will be the responsibility of the carrier.
All our packages are insured for damages.
You have twelve hours from the time the carrier delivers your package to inspect the product for any damages incurred during transit.
Carriers have strict time limits to place a claim.
Take pictures of how the package arrived.
Email us your pictures so we can process a claim and wait for further instructions.

 

WEBSITE COLOR DISCLAIMER:

Due to the many variations in monitor resolution and the way browsers display, our color
pictures may appear different on separate monitors. Therefore, it is not possible to guarantee that our online finishes will look the same on all computers. We cannot guarantee that what you see accurately portrays the color of the products you receive, especially on living finishes such as (but not limited to) – oil rubbed bronze, antique brass, weathered or custom finishes.
